Miljenko Šteko said at the beginning that “we wish to praise God for our holy Church, that recognised all fruits of Medjugorje and became specially present here through the Apostolic Visitor Archbishop Henryk Hoser, who entrusted me with the celebration of this Holy Mass and whose greetings I would like to pass on.''
Fr. Miljenko Šteko said in his homily that Mary forwards us to the strength and power of the Holy Spirit, not to our own strength. She directs us to be opened to God’s grace, to completely surrender to it, so this grace can be reflected in us. (photo)

It was that way also this year.
The apparition, which lasted 4 minutes (18:37h - 18:41h), took place at Ivanka’s family home. Only Ivanka’s family was present at the apparition. After the apparition, Ivanka said:

After Sunday Holy Mass, farewell and departure, many of them anticipate the following year and their coming here again, since for all of them this is the unique opportunity to meet with the people who have same problems, to get to know each other better, but also to be able to come to Apparition Hill, something that is impossible in the ordinary circumstances. We believe you were rejoiced to hear the good news of Pope Francis authorising the pilgrimages to Medjugorje and now, since May 12, all dioceses and parishes and all other Catholic institutions are allowed to organise the official pilgrimages, that no longer have the "private" character.
In this short time, we received several requests for the news on our web site to be translated more swiftly and in more languages, if possible. In order for us to please desires and needs of all of you, we need your help in translations in this new time in Our Lady's school of Medjugorje.
Pope Francis has decided to authorise pilgrimages to Medjugorje, which can now be officially organised by dioceses and parishes and will no longer take place only in a private capacity which as has so far been the case.
The announcement was made today during Mass, at the parish shrine which has become a destination for millions of pilgrims, by the Apostolic Nuncio Luigi Pezzuto in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Archbishop Henryk Hoser, the Holy See's Special Apostolic Visitator, as reported by the Vatican News.
