Celebration of St. James’ Feast, patron saint of Medjugorje parish

On Saturday, July 25, we will celebrate the Feast of St. James, patron saint of Medjugorje parish, parish established in 1892, and from the very beginning it was consecrated to St. James, patron saint of pilgrims. Holy Masses are going to be celebrated at 7, 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. while the central celebration will be at 11 a.m. in the Garden opposite to the ruins of the old church. The procession with the statue of St. James will begin at 10.45 a.m. and members of Merciful Father community and Mother’s Village will have the honour to carry the statue this year. The evening prayer programme will be according to the schedule and whole-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin at 10 p.m. and the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the church until 7 a.m. The parishioners are preparing for this celebration with the Novena that began on July 16, 2015.
