Five concerts given by two Medjugorje choirs under direction of sister Slavica Kozul

In the time of Christmas, the children’s choir “Little doves of peace” and the “Choir of the Queen of Peace” from Medjugorje, under direction of Sister Slavica Kozul gave five concerts in Medjugorje, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik.

On Wednesday, December 15, “Little doves of peace” took part in the Christmas concert in the Bosnian Cultural Centre in Sarajevo, which gathered together the most excellent Croatian musicians.

On Saturday, December 18, the “Choir of the Queen of Peace” gave its Christmas concert in the parish church in Medjugorje. The special guest of this concert was the group “Luka Ploce” from Ploce.

On Sunday, December 19, the traditional Christmas concert of the “Little doves of peace” and the “Little singing Dubrovnik” (under direction of maestro Djelo Jusic) took place in the parish church in Medjugorje. This was also the occasion for the promotion of the new CD of the “Little doves of peace” under the title, “Christmas in Medjugorje. The CD contains 17 songs, all of them arranged by maestro Djelo Jusic. On Sunday, December 26, these two children’s choirs gave their traditional Christmas concert in Dubrovnik, in the Franciscan church.

On Friday, December 31, the “Little doves of peace” gave a concert for the pilgrims in the parish church in Medjugorje. The special guest of this concert was the group “Luka Ploce” from Ploce.

Sister Slavica Kozul, a Franciscan school sister, is leading the “Little doves of peace” and the “Choir of the Queen of Peace” for six years now, and with much success. Her rich experience is based on the many years of work with other choirs in New York, Mostar and Zagreb.
