The 31st International Prayer Encounter for the Youth will be held in Međugorje from August 1-6, with the theme "Come, and you will see" (Jn 1, 39). This year’s Youth Festival will be a bit different due to the coronavirus pandemic and Fr. Marinko Sakota gave his interview for Radio Mir Medjugorje and spoke about the programme that awaits us. The programme will be held in afternoon, starting at 5 pm, testimonies and reflections. Before that, we will broadcast special programme for 15 minutes, available on our media platforms – livestreaming service, YouTube, Facebook and also radio Mir.
''The solemn Holy Mass of the opening will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1 at 7 pm by Apostolic Nuncio to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Msgr. Luigi Pezzuto, the second night it would be Provincial of Herzegovinian Franciscan Province, Fr. Miljenko Steko, the third night Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, Archbishop Coadjutor of Vrhbosna Archdiocese, the fourth night Msgr. Henryk Hoser, the Apostolic Visitor for Medjugorje parish and the fifth night it would be Cardinal Vinko Puljić, Archbishop of Vrhbosna Diocese.
The reflections after the testimonies will be given by Archbishop Henryk Hoser, Fr. Danko Perutina, Fr. Ljubo Kurtović and myself'', said Fr. Marinko Šakota in his interview for Radio Mir Medjugorje.
