Lenten spiritual renewal for the youth in Medjugorje

date: 12.03.2015.

Young people from the parish of St. Joseph in Tresnjevka in Zagreb were in Medjugorje at the beginning of March as part of their Lenten spiritual renewal. They came with their assistant parish priest and visited many places of prayer in Medjugorje, including Mother’s Village and they participated in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament as well. Petra Konta told us: “This place is truly amazing. Upon my return to Zagreb, I felt a change and a more profound connection with God which was reflected in conversations with Him that were more often, and our dear Gospa confirmed to me that this pilgrimage was really fruitful and the continuation in our personal prayer was to follow.” On Saturday, March 14, 2015, there will be the 16th Traditional Annual Meeting (pilgrimage) of senior students to Herzegovina, organised by the catechesis office of the Split – Makarska diocese. Young people from the dioceses of Split – Makarska, Zadar, Sibenik and Dubrovnik will take part in this pilgrimage.
