Throughout the world, friends of Medjugorje gathered in various Associations, Peace Centres and prayer groups, to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the apparitions of the Queen of Peace.
Friends from Lebanon and from Oregon, USA, made contact with us and underlined their communion of prayer with other pilgrims and with the parishioners of Medjugorje.
The Centre for Peace West in Oregon, USA, organised an Evening Prayer Programme modelled on the Medjugorje program. Mons. Kenneth Donald Steiner, the Auxiliary Bishop of Portland in Oregon, USA, took part in this programme.
In Lebanon, the “Friends of Mary, Queen of Peace” Association organised a novena of prayer and fasting for the seventh consecutive year, with the intention of asking the grace of peace and unity in the Lebanon. Lebanese bishops are associated with this particular novena.
