Press conference to be held in Medjugorje prior to the Youth Festival

Press Conference on the occasion of the jubilee 30^th Youth Festival will take place in Medjugorje on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 5 pm, in the facilities of Radio Mir Medjugorje. Fr. Marinko Sakota, Medjugorje parish priest and the Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, Archbishop Henryk Hoser will speak to the journalists and answer their questions.

The Youth Festival, to be held from August 1 to 6, 2019, is an event when dozens of thousands of people from all over the world gather, and this year’s theme is “Follow me” (Mk 10, 21).

Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, Vicar General of Rome, will be the main celebrant of the opening Holy Mass on Thursday, August 1, while the closing Holy Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelisation.
