Many pilgrims gathered this Easter in Medjugorje and participated together with the parishioners in the liturgy of the Easter Triduum. They arrived from Germany, the United States, Austria, Italy, Korea, Ireland, Lebanon, Latvia, Slovakia, England, France, Spain, Ukraine, as well as from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Fr. Hrvoje Miletic led the Rosary on Holy Thursday and Fr. Dragan Ruzic was the main celebrant with 24 priests concelebrating. Fr. Marinko Sakota, along with Fr. Hrvoje Miletic and Fr. Miljenko Steko, the Provincial of the Herzegovina Franciscan Province, led the prayer of the Way of the Cross on Cross Mountain on Good Friday at 11 a.m. The Rosary began at 5 p.m. and the Good Friday Service at 6 p.m. with Fr. Stanko Cosic as the main officiant. 25 other priests participated with him in this service. The Easter Vigil began at 8 p.m. with the Rosary and Fr. Hrvoje Miletic was the main celebrant with 38 priests concelebrating. Holy Masses on Easter morning were celebrated in many languages, four of which were in Croatian.
