Solemnity of Corpus Christi – Procession with the Blessed Sacrament

Fr. Marinko Sakota was the main celebrant of the solemn Holy Mass celebrated on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, along with 65 priests concelebrating. Fr. Zvonimir Pavićić led the prayer of the Rosary and as traditionally, the Procession with the Blessed Sacrament in the streets of Medjugorje followed, with many priests, religious and pilgrims participating. The procession was with hymns, prayers and readings from the Holy Scripture and it finished with the final benediction of the faithful.  Groups of pilgrims in Medjugorje in these days are from Italy, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Portugal, the United States, Korea, Spain, France, Switzerland, Lebanon and Poland. There were fourteen Holy Masses celebrated in different languages on this solemnity, three in Croatian language. (foto)
