Students and teachers from the College of Health in Zagreb came to Medjugorje on a pilgrimage

date: 16.04.2016.

Students and teachers from the College of Health in Zagreb, came to Medjugorje on a pilgrimage to the Queen of Peace. They said that a profound spirituality is extremely important in the formation of future health workers, therefore their religious teachers are very keen on organising a pilgrimage to Medjugorje each year. ”With rosaries in our hands, Gospa in our hearts and the joy of the Holy Spirit in us, we began this pilgrimage. We arrived in Medjugorje early in the morning and we prayed the Stations of the Cross on Cross Mountain. It was beautiful that we wrote those meditations ourselves and read them in turn. Around 5 pm we lined up for confession and took part in the Holy Mass in the parish church. The same night, we also participated in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The following day, on Sunday, we climbed Apparition Hill and prayed the joyful mysteries of the Rosary.  We then left Medjugorje so that we could reach Rama for Sunday Holy Mass. In Šćit, we visited the Franciscan monastery, museum and the House of Peace. As we travelled back home, many students and teachers publicly bore witness to the gifts they received during this pilgrimage. We sang and laughed in communion with God all the time during this pilgrimage”, students and teachers from the College of Health told us.  More than 800 students of various health professions receive their education in this institution.
