The 20th International Seminar for Priests began in Medjugorje

The 20^th International Seminar for Priests that gathered around 400 priests, deacons and seminarians from 20 different countries began in Medjugorje on July 6, 2015 with the evening prayer programme. Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest from Medjugorje said in his homily: “You came to Medjugorje so you would take a look from the outside to yourself, to your work, to the relations with others, to prayer…That is your task in the next 6 days.” The theme of this seminar is: “Peace be with you!” (Jn 20,21). The lecturer is Fr. Ike Manduric who, since 2010, takes care of the youth in basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Zagreb, especially through the Association Student Catholic Centre that he is spiritually guiding. The lectures are simultaneously translated in ten languages. These international seminars began in 1996, as the response to the demands from the priests and have turned into the regular annual meetings and gatherings.
