This year, for the occasion of the 37th Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions, on Sunday, June 24, besides many faithful from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, there were registered groups from Italy, the United States, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria, Canada, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Albania, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Moldavia, Russia, Spain, Lebanon, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania, Guatemala, Bolivia, China, Korea, Hungary, Columbia, Latvia, Hong Kong, Belarus and Reunion. Holy Masses in Croatian language were celebrated at 7, 8, 11 a.m., 1 and 7 p.m. There were Holy Masses in other languages too, total of 16 of them. The evening Holy Mass at the Eve of the Apparitions of Our Lady was celebrated by Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest, along with 143 priests concelebrating. The celebration was more solemn and beautiful thanks to the singing of the main choir “The Queen of Peace”, conducted by Sr. Irena Azinovic.
On Monday, June 25th, we will celebrate the 37th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions. Holy Masses in Croatian language will be at 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 am, and the solemn Holy Mass will be at 7 pm, celebrated by Fr. Miljenko Steko, the Provincial of Herzegovina Franciscan Province. Holy confession will be available since 5 am on that day. At 10 pm, the monthly whole-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin and the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed until 7 am on the following day.
