On Tuesday, December 8th Parish of Medjugorje solemnly celebrated the Feast of Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary. Along with many pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, there was surprisingly large number of pilgrims for this time of the year from Italy, Austria, United States, Spain, Mexico, France, Germany and other. On the eve before the Feast there was an evening prayer vigil with Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and during the day there were nine Holy Masses celebrated in the church of St. James in Croatian, Italian, Spanish, French, German and English languages. Along with foreign pilgrims, there were many press members and television crews that accompanied and monitored pilgrimage journey of their national groups, as well as the events in Medjugorje parish.
