On Sunday, October 29, female vocal group “Mir” shall perform and give us their first independent concert at 7.30 pm in the hall of John Paul II.
Their friends and guests shall perform too. Their leader is Monija Jarak. Let us come and support them while enjoying their music. The entrance is free.
Vocal group 'Mir' is female a capella group created in Medjugorje on September 3, 2016. It is made of eight members along with their leader, master of solo singing Monija Jarak, who is singing at the place of 2nd soprano in the group.
Apart from Monija, the members are: the first soprano Darija Ramljak, the second soprano Ana Maria Ramljak, the first alto Ines Zovko, Iva Berišić and Josipa Sivrić, the second alto Marija Sivrić and Zdravka Šego. This vocal group was made out of different music sections of the YouFra Medjugorje, at the initiative of the parish priest Fr. Marinko Sakota.
Up to this day, they have performed many times in Zurich, Basel, Luzern, in Mostar and in Medjugorje.
