The Seminar for Group Leaders, Organisers of Pilgrimages, Leaders of Peace Centres and Charity Groups finished in Medjugorje

date: 07.03.2015.

The 22nd Meeting for Group Leaders, Organisers of Pilgrimages, Leaders of Peace Centres and Charity groups, which gathered more than 400 participants from 23 countries, has finished with a Mass of Thanksgiving on Friday, March 6, celebrated by Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest of Medjugorje and the coordinator of the seminar. The theme of the seminar was “Peace be with you”, and this is what Fr. Marinko said, among many other constructive thoughts: “The pedagogy of love is at work here in the Gospa’s school. The miracle of her pedagogy is in her unconditional love. She teaches us that nothing is impossible with love and if you allow Jesus to teach you, then you will be able to lead others.”The participants had opportunity of listening to lectures, of discussions with lecturers and priests from Medjugorje, and of taking part in the evening prayer programme and other events organised for them. Sara Chaya from Lebanon came to the seminar for the first time, she is part of the group Friends of Mary, the Queen of Peace and this is what Sara told us: “We came here with great pleasure so we would get to know Medjugorje in a better way. We wanted to learn how to treat pilgrims in a better way and how to share our experiences and love towards our Mother. It is beautiful to see so many people in one place who all gathered together with the same reason – to spread the Gospa’s messages. I want to start coming for this event every year now. This is something that I have been doing since 1997, and Medjugorje is in the centre of my heart, my soul and my life. This is the experience that I share with my family and all others who want to listen to me as I feel it is really special to be able to share our testimonies with each other.”
