Also this year, many pilgrims gathered for the Holy Triduum celebration in Medjugorje from Austria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Mexico, France, Italy, Ireland, the United States, Columbia, Argentina, Ukraine, Spain, Lebanon, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
Groups of pilgrims had their Holy Thursday services before the noon, while the evening Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Slavko Soldo in the parish church and many faithful remained in the silent prayer in the church afterwards.
Services of Good Friday were also held in the afternoon in different languages and in Croatian the Service began at 6 pm, led by Fr. Zvonimir Pavicic. Many faithful climbed the Cross Mountain on that day.
The Liturgy of the Words Service was held on Holy Saturday in different language groups and all these groups joined the parish at the Easter Vigil Service that began at 9 pm and was led by Fr. Marinko Sakota. Fr. Perica Ostojic sang Easter Exultet. Many local and foreign priests spent many of these days in the confessionals. (photos)
