''Fr. Ante Vučković was born in 1958 in Sinj into a large family. He is a member of the Franciscan Province of the Most Holy Redeemer with headquarters in Split. He completed the seminary and classical high school in Sinj, and Theology in Makarska and Zagreb. He was ordained a priest in 1983. After serving as an assistant parish priest in Metković and Munich, he studied Philosophy in Munich and Rome, where he received his PhD title on the Dimension of Listening with Martin Heidegger. He taught Philosophy in Rome, at the Pontifical University Antonianum, and at the Franciscan Theology in Makarska. He is a retired professor of philosophy at the Catholic Faculty of Theology, University of Split. He is the leader of spiritual exercises, seminars and spiritual retreats. He is a spiritual leader and advisor, he has also published several books. He publishes in professional and populist magazines. He loves books, photography, mountains, the sea and cycling'', according to the biography of Fr. Ante Vučković, and the coordinator of the spiritual renewal is Fr. Zvonimir Pavičić.

The spiritual retreat will begin on Monday, June 29th with the registration of participants in the John Paul II Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. In addition to the lectures and participation in the evening prayer program in the Church of St. James in Medjugorje, the priests will also have daily Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and will also pray at the grave of Fr. Slavko Barbarić, who initiated this spiritual retreat, on the Apparition Hill, on Cross Mountain, where after praying the Stations of the Cross they will also have the opportunity to confess.

The 25th International Spiritual Retreat for Married Couples will be held in Međugorje from February 4 to 7 this year, while the 31st International Spiritual Retreat for Pilgrimage Organizers, Leaders of Peace Centers, Prayer and Charity Groups Related to Međugorje will be held from March 9 to 13, 2026.

The Spiritual Retreat for Youth, the Youth Festival is being held for the 37th time this year, and will last from August 1 to 6, 2026.
