''We are all probably familiar with the wonderful prophecy about the woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars, story from the 12th chapter of the Book of Revelation of Saint John. If that Sun is Christ himself, the Word who became flesh precisely in the womb of the Virgin Mary, then that woman clothed with the sun, the Word, with the Christ is precisely Mary. Then what is true for Mary is also true for the Church; and what is true for the Church can also be said for Mary. She lived most perfectly and achieved what Saint Paul later interpreted with the words "to put on Christ", said in his homily the auxiliary bishop of Olomouc in the Czech Republic, Msgr. Antonin Basler.
On the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Rosary, he was the main celebrant in the Church of St. James in Medjugorje, with the concelebration of 109 priests, and the rosary was recited before the Holy Mass by Fr. Antonio Primorac.
The Rosary and the Blessed Virgin Mary were the themes of his homily in Medjugorje, so he also brought the words of St. John Paul II, written in his book ‘The Gift and the Mystery’, in which he describes the devotion to the Virgin Mary: "At the time when my priestly vocation crystallized...my concept of devotion to the Mother of God changed in a certain way. Even then, I was convinced that Mary leads us to Christ, but at that time I began to understand that Christ also leads us to his Mother."
"'The Mother of God wants to be the way to the goal, and that goal is her Son', said Bishop Basler, and then he brought the thoughts of some other saints, about receiving grace through Mary, such as Saint Bernardine of Siena, Saint Philip Neri, Saint John Mary Vianney...
He then brought the thoughts of the popes about the rosary: Saint Pope Pius V, Saint John XXIII, Saint John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis who said: "The rosary is a prayer that constantly accompanies my life; also the prayer of simple people and saints... it is the prayer of my heart."
Bishop Basler said that ''the Hail Mary prayer is like a gold jewelry in which the name Jesus is the most precious jewel''.
''From 1478 to the present day, more than 200 papal documents can be listed about the rosary. "In many apparitions, the Blessed Virgin Mary has shown that praying the Rosary is very necessary for the good of humanity and has encouraged us to pray it," said the auxiliary bishop of Olomouc in the Czech Republic, Msgr. Antonin Basler, and concluding his homily, he called on "us to take up the Holy Rosary with renewed fervor, thus following our heavenly Mother in her endeavor to bring all the brothers and sisters of her Son to heaven."
