„Come, and you will see“ (Jn 1, 39) – the theme of the International Spiritual Retreats in Medjugorje in 2020

The first one is the 27^th International Spiritual Retreat for Organisers of the Pilgrimages, Leaders of Peace Centres and Leaders of Medjugorje Prayer and Charity Groups and it is to be held from March 2-6, 2020.

The 20th International Spiritual Retreat for Married Couples finished in Medjugorje

Be just like the Blessed Virgin Mary was, be kind and nice, be beautiful as she was. Someone asked Mary, How come you are so beautiful? Msgr. Henryk Hoser receives award on behalf of the Polish foundation

The jury, under the honorary chairmanship of Bishop Artur Miziński decided to grant this award to Archbishop Hoser for his persistent and continuous teaching towards all farmers and people in charge of the agricultural politics in Poland.

"This award honours all property owners, agricultural producers, gardeners and fruit producers, whose land was destroyed at the time of the communism regime”, says the report of the jury.

Fr. Miljenko Šteko, OFM, the Provincial of Herzegovina Franciscan Province was elected as the President of the Union of Friars Minor of Europe (UFME), during their general Assembly that gathered Franciscan Provinces from all European countries.

The spiritual retreat for married couples to be held in Medjugorje next week

The 20^th International Spiritual Retreat for Married Couples will be held in Medjugorje from November 6 to 9, 2019. The theme of this, as well as every other retreat is “Follow me” (Mk 10, 21).

October - the month of Our Lady and Feast of St. Francis in Medjugorje

As of tomorrow, we enter into the month of Our Lady, October. Let us never forget to thank Our Lady for all goods we received. On Friday, October 4, we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the founder of three Franciscan orders. On Thursday, after the evening Holy Mass, there will be service of Transitus, memorial of death of St. Francis.

As we know, one branch of the New Evangelisation has pastoral responsibility for the shrines in the world. Even though Medjugorje has still not been officially recognised as the shrine, this place is the destination for millions of pilgrims each year. Since we too have the responsibility for pilgrimages, I received this invitation with great gratitude, as it has brought me here.
