Months of May and October are devoted in a special way to the Blessed Virgin Mary. On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 34th Golden Harp – musical gathering of all children’s choirs from Herzegovina was held in Posusje. Children from many parishes, accompanied by their leaders showed how they can witness God in music and in joy.
More than 1600 present members of prayer communities, groups, homes of prayers, associations and initiatives united in the Coordination in the Renewal in the Holy Spirit gathered for their 4th Annual Meeting that took place in Medjugorje from April 4-8.
Also this year, many pilgrims gathered for the Holy Triduum celebration in Medjugorje from Austria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Mexico, France, Italy, Ireland, the United States, Columbia, Argentina, Ukraine, Spain, Lebanon, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.(photos)

Church of Divine Mercy is located in Surmanci, just along river Neretva, and each first Sunday after Easter we have celebration of the Feast and the blessing of this church built in 2002. The main Holy Mass shall be this following Sunday, April 8, at 11 am.
On Good Friday, March 30, smaller or bigger groups of the faithful and pilgrims were climbing Cross Mountain and praying the Way of the Cross in different languages. As traditionally, devotion of the Way of the Cross for Croatian speaking pilgrims began at 11 am at the foot of Cross Mountain and it was led by Fr. Marinko Sakota, parish priest of Medjugorje. Holy Mass of the Supper of the Lord was solemnly celebrated on Thursday, March 29 in the parish church in Medjugorje. Fr. Slavko Soldo was the main celebrant in the communion with the parish priest and 28 more priests. Rosary was said before the Holy Mass, led by Fr. Josip Marija Katalinić. The parish choir of the Queen of Peace accompanied the service with their singing. (photos)
Palm Sunday or the Sunday of the Passion of Our Lord traditionally is an introduction to the Holy Week, as a preparation for Easter, the greatest Christian feast. As in the previous years, the liturgy of Palm Sunday began at the ruins of the old parish church. The procession began after the Gospel about the entrance of Our Lord into Jerusalem was read and the blessing of palm and olive branches followed. (photos)
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (March 26 - 28, 2018): Holy Masses in Croatian language are according to the regular schedule at 7.30 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Confessions shall take place before the morning Mass and in the afternoon from 4.30 p.m.
The ambulance of the Order of Malta began with their activities in a new season in Medjugorje on this Palm Sunday, March 25. Their hours for urgent medicine are in this year from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. They will continue to work until October 31, 2017.
As traditionally in the Diociese of Mostar - Duvno for many years now, the whole week from the 5th Sunday of the Lent, until the Palm Sunday is offered for the prayer against curses and blaspheming in our people.
Encounters and lectures on Wednesday in the Lent continue also this Wednesday when prof. Ankica Bakovic, psychologist, will give a talk at the Hall of John Paul II at 7.30 pm. She would speak about increasing problem of the digital addictions of children and the youth and the theme is: “The influence of the screens at the development of the child.” We are all invited, especially parents, youth and children.
