In order for the Youth Festival to be running in the best way possible, the young volunteers, the members of YouFra Medjugorje are trying to do their best. 150 volunteers, led by their spiritual assistant Fr. Perica Ostojić are there at disposal to the pilgrims.

Also this year during the International Prayer Encounter for the Youth in Medjugorje, participants are able to write their prayer intentions on the banner 100 meters long, prepared by community Cenacolo members. They are welcome to write their spiritual thoughts, thanksgiving to God and this banner will be presented in the eucharistic prayer on the last day of the Encounter, August 5.

Medjugorje in these days is all about the youth again, as the 29th International Prayer Encounter of the Youth (Youth Festival) started, this year held with the theme “Living on the Word of God”. The official beginning was on Wednesday, August 1, with the Holy Mass at the White Dome.
